Western State Project Moves Forward

History will soon repeat itself in Staunton. John Beghtol visits the grounds of the old Western State Hospital where he once worked.

Beghtol says, “It has so much meaning. This hospital was built in 1828.”

The Staunton City Council approved a $15 million contribution to the project Thursday night.

Hospital Property Committee Draws up to-do List

The panel overseeing studies of Norwich has given itself a list of several items to be completed over the next five weeks for their meeting. The next meeting of the Norwich Site Development Committee for the Former State Hospital is at 5:30 p.m. September 14th at City Hall.
